Job Description

We are seeking a competent Civil Cost Estimator to oversee the cost estimation and bidding processes for our building projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will ensure all civil works are accurately estimated, compliant with project specifications, and completed within timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Review BOQ, tender drawings, specifications, and conditions in coordination with all trades including MEP.
2. Analyze bid documents, RFQs, RFPs, and prepare detailed pre-bid cost estimates for building and infrastructure projects.
3. Evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids for competitiveness and compliance.
4. Maintain documentation related to pre-bid activities and hand over successful bids to procurement and execution teams.
5. Use estimation software such as AutoCAD, Revit, PlanSwift for quantity take-offs.
6. Coordinate with planning and financial departments for scheduling and cash flow estimates.
7. Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
8. Conduct value engineering studies based on client budgets.
9. Maintain records of suppliers and project data.
10. Ensure familiarity with bidding procedures, government requirements, and recent project experiences in Saudi Arabia.

Additional Requirements

• Recent experience in turnkey project bidding within Saudi Arabia.
• Transferable Iqama is preferred.
• Availability to work at the Riyadh main office and align with company goals.
