Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil 3D/ BIM Coordinator to join our team on our Qiddiya Project!
Position Summary:
Utilizes advanced Building Information Management (BIM) software to develop and manage digital models ensuring precision and compliance with project requirements. Performs various modeling techniques and analysis to complete moderately complex assignments while confirming project deliverables are met.
Specific Responsibilities:
Utilizes BIM related software to develop and manage digital models.
Supports the preparation, review, and execution of implementation/management plans at the program/project level.
Collaborates with project teams for effective model integration.
Assists team in responding to client queries and requests.
Provides input to clients/others working on the same project.
Completes model assurance reports and supports drafting special provisions, with oversight.
Interfaces with other departments on matters relating to work assignments.
Provides technical guidance to, and reviews deliverables of junior staff and supports the development of training and coaching materials.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Supervision Received - Manager
Supervision Given - Lower level team members (technical guidance only)
Internal Contacts - All employees on project
External Contacts - None
Skills and Competencies:
Advanced knowledge of core building information modeling software packages/workflows and understanding of design modeling principles.
Proficient with and established ability to apply moderately advanced modeling software packages and related modeling principles and application. Familiar with deployment processes, requirements, and software troubleshooting.
Knowledge of engineering principles to apply concepts to modeling assignments.
Proficient in Common Data Environment (CDE) usage and management for model production.
Ability to use at least one CDE system like Project Wise and/or ACC.
Ability to develop basic design plans with limited supervision.
Ability to develop catalogues e.g., 2D symbology, families, parametric, parts, sub-assemblies, etc.
Understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices.
Effective computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) on modeling technical and non-technical subjects with management, engineering and production staff.
Education and Typical Experience:
- 6+ years related work experience
