Job Description

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, establishing and maintaining customer relationships, and selling products within the Alain Ducasse Chocolat shop. This role is crucial for ensuring a high-quality customer experience that aligns with the luxury and prestige of the Alain Ducasse brand.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Customer Service:
   • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
   • Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products, ingredients, and special offers.
   • Assist customers in making selections by building confidence, offering suggestions, and providing opinions.
   • Drive sales through engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
   • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the POS system.
   • Cross-sell and upsell products to increase purchase amounts.
2. Inventory and Merchandising:
   • Participate in receiving and stocking merchandise.
   • Maintain the sales floor, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and keeping the store clean and attractive.
   • Conduct regular inventory counts to prevent discrepancies.
3. Product Knowledge:
   • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, including new items and promotions.
   • Attend training sessions on new products and promotions.
4. Administrative Support:
   • Assist with record maintenance, cash handling, and sales reports.
   • Follow store policies on returns and exchanges.
5. HR & Training:
   • Attend all training sessions related to culinary and product knowledge.
