Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for their client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which is a chain of primary care and rehabilitation centers operating across Saudi Arabia, headquartered in Riyadh.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 10 years of operational leadership experience in Saudi Arabia, leading the complete P&L for a chain of clinics. Candidates who do not have experience in leading a network of clinics/chain of clinics would not qualify for this position.

The COO will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring operational excellence, and driving the growth of a network of rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and primary care clinics in KSA.

Applicants must have experience in managing the complete P&L of the clinic network. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in retail, consumer business, and healthcare operations to enhance efficiency, patient experience, and financial performance.

You will develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and service quality, streamline processes to improve patient flow, appointment scheduling, and service delivery, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, licensing, and accreditation requirements.

The COO will lead the expansion strategy, including opening new centers and optimizing existing locations, and identify and implement innovative service models to improve accessibility and revenue.

Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to drive patient acquisition and retention.

Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial performance of all centers. Implement KPIs and performance monitoring systems to drive operational efficiency.

Optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability and sustainability.

Develop and implement patient-centric service models to enhance satisfaction and outcomes.

Monitor and improve customer journey touchpoints, ensuring a seamless experience.

Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation. Lead, mentor, and develop center managers, clinical teams, and support staff. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and patient care.

Implement training programs to enhance staff skills and service delivery standards. Leverage digital tools and technology to enhance operational efficiency and patient engagement, including electronic health records (EHR), telehealth solutions, and data-driven decision-making tools.

We seek candidates with a proven track record in scaling operations, improving efficiencies, and driving profitability, with a strong understanding of healthcare regulations, insurance models, and patient care trends. Experience in multi-location retail healthcare operations is a must.
