Chief Officer sailing as 2nd Master

Job description

We are looking for a competent and motivated Chief Officer, who is also capable of stepping into the 2nd Master role when required. This position requires strong vessel handling, leadership, and operational skills—particularly in offshore shallow water support missions.
You will be working on a high-profile project for Aramco in Saudi Arabia.

About the vessel:

She is a Dutch-flagged Ultra Shallow Draft Support Vessel, purpose-built for operations in shallow waters and offshore environments. Equipped with a 310tm crane, 50t and 80t winches, and dynamic positioning, she plays a vital role in cable laying, light construction, and offshore support tasks.

Job requirements

• STCW II/2 – Master <3000 GT
• Documented sailing time as Master (close to or more than 720 days preferred)
• Valid STCW certificates
• H2S certificate (can be arranged online if needed)
• BOSIET (preferred, not mandatory)
• Marlins English test – minimum score 80%
• Experience with shallow draft support vessels or multicats
• Willingness and eligibility to apply for:
  • Saudi Arabia visa
  • Seaman’s visa in the UAE
