Chief Information Officer

The Client

Our client, a leading family conglomerate in Saudi Arabia with presence across multiple categories, is looking for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the IT Strategy and Digital Transformation agenda for the group.

The Role:

1. Lead IT Strategy and Digital Transformation: Develop and execute the overall IT strategy aligned with the group's goals. Drive the organization's digital transformation across all business functions, ensuring technology adoption that enhances efficiency and competitiveness.
2. ERP Implementation Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and management of a group-wide ERP implementation. Ensure seamless integration of ERP systems across all departments to optimize workflows and improve operational processes.
3. Digitalization Across Key Functions: Lead the digitalization journey across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, operations planning, and other supporting functions. Leverage digital tools and technologies to optimize these business areas and drive operational excellence.
4. Implement AI, Automation, and Data-Driven Solutions: Spearhead the ideation and integration of artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and data analytics solutions. Focus on transforming the organization into a more data-driven, analytics-focused enterprise that supports better decision-making focused on targeted insights.
5. Team Leadership and Management: Manage and lead a high-performing IT team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning while ensuring the team's alignment with business objectives and project goals.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Should have 18+ years experience in managing Technology portfolios group-wide, with 6+ years in senior leadership positions.
2. As per the Saudi government initiative local candidates are highly preferred.
3. Should have proven experience in leading large-scale ERP implementations and digital transformation initiatives.
4. Strong expertise in AI, automation, data analytics, and related technologies.
5. Good understanding of emerging technologies and innovations in the technology domain.
6. Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead diverse teams.
7. Strong business acumen with a focus on driving growth through technology solutions.
