Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Real Estate Development company

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of a dynamic real estate development and construction company. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial leadership, with a proven track record in conducting feasibility studies and preparing investment proposals for large-scale real estate projects, including residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Conduct detailed feasibility studies to evaluate the financial viability of development projects.
• Prepare comprehensive investment proposals and business plans for real estate ventures.
• Develop robust financial models and perform scenario analysis to support decision-making.
• Oversee funding strategies, capital structure, and financial risk management.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and auditors.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local financial regulations.
• Collaborate with development, legal, and operations teams on investment execution.
• Implement internal controls and enhance financial systems and reporting.
• Lead and develop the finance department for future growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA or Master’s preferred).
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• 10–15 years of financial leadership experience, including 5+ years in real estate development or investment.
• Proven ability to conduct feasibility studies and prepare real estate investment proposals.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and project finance skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and board-level presentation abilities.

Preferred

• Experience in international real estate projects and investment structuring.
• Familiarity with the MENA region or similar emerging markets.
• Bilingual: Fluency in English required; Arabic or French is a plus.
