Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading retail group in Saudi Arabia to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will oversee the financial strategy, performance, and health of the organization, providing strategic leadership on capital structure, planning, compliance, and business insights to drive growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, internal audit, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and enterprise risk management systems.
- Advise the CEO and Board on financial matters, strategic investments, and M&A opportunities.
- Manage banking relationships, treasury operations, and funding structures.
- Optimize capital structure to support growth and enhance shareholder value.
- Monitor cash flow, cost controls, working capital efficiency, and key financial KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and evolving local and regional financial regulations.
- Lead the design and adoption of new financial processes to meet regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Drive automation and digitization of financial operations for improved transparency and efficiency.
- Prepare and present high-quality financial reports to internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- Support strategic decision-making through scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and risk evaluation.
- Partner with business units to foster financial discipline, budget accountability, and value creation.
- Develop, retain, and build succession capability within the finance team.
Requirements- 15+ years of experience in senior financial leadership roles within retail or FMCG.
- Chartered Accountant qualification required.
- Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and tax regulations.
- Strong background in treasury, audit, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large finance teams and drive financial transformation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial analytics tools.

- Bilingual proficiency preferred (English required; Arabic is an asset).
