Job Description: Chief Commercial Officer (Confidential)

Location: Saudi Arabia

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial success of the organization by driving positive customer experiences across direct and indirect sales channels. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing sales and marketing teams, developing innovative commercial strategies, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. The CCO will monitor market trends, analyze competitor performance, and spearhead initiatives to foster sustainable growth, optimize commercial processes, and enhance customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership:
  1. Develop and execute a long-term marketing strategy aligned with the company’s vision, market positioning, and growth objectives.
  2. Define and implement a consistent brand strategy across all communication channels.
  3. Establish strategic marketing partnerships to enhance brand visibility and reach new audiences.
  4. Leverage market intelligence and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making and project positioning.
  5. Oversee the creation of marketing frameworks for new project launches and market expansions.
  6. Drive innovation in digital marketing and branding to differentiate the organization in a competitive landscape.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:
  1. Set and achieve sales strategies and revenue targets aligned with business goals and market dynamics.
  2. Lead the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for offerings.
  3. Develop customer acquisition models and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  4. Align sales structures, teams, and incentives with performance objectives.
  5. Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture within commercial teams.
Commercial Planning & Market Expansion:
  1. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to support growth.
  2. Provide strategic input on project feasibility and positioning during early development phases.
  3. Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to shape the organization’s strategic direction.
  4. Develop commercial risk management approaches and scenario planning to address market fluctuations.
  5. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, government entities, investors, and partners.
  6. Ensure all commercial activities comply with regulatory standards and align with company values and long-term goals.
Support Functions:
  1. Analyze performance data and reports to provide actionable recommendations for improving sales and marketing strategies.
  2. Support the CEO with additional tasks as needed to drive organizational objectives.
Key Relationships:
  • Internal: Collaborate with Sales Management, Marketing Management, and other departments to ensure accurate reporting and process efficiency.
  • External: Engage with stakeholders and partners to maintain smooth operations and regulatory adherence.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior commercial, sales, or marketing role.
  • Proven track record in strategic leadership, marketing, branding, and sales management.
  • Fluency in Arabic is essential.
