Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Chemist to join our team in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our laboratory, you will conduct petroleum and petrochemical analyses, keep SQC data updated, and maintain the ISO 17025 standard of the laboratory. • Perform various petroleum and petrochemical analyses using advanced laboratory techniques and equipment
• Operate and maintain sophisticated analytical instruments, including HPLC and GC, ICP-OES, CFR Engines
• Develop and optimize analytical methods to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality control procedures
• Maintain accurate records of analyses, and results in laboratory information management systems
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and methodologies
• Stay current with the latest developments in chemistry and analytical techniques

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a closely related field (required)
• Minimum of one year of hands-on laboratory experience
• Proficiency in chromatography techniques, including HPLC, GC, and ICP-OES, CFR Engine
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent data analysis and interpretation abilities
• Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
• Knowledge of chemical analysis methods and quality control procedures
• Understanding of safety protocols and regulations in chemical laboratories
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards for testing and calibration laboratories
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
