A leading hotel chain is seeking a Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a reputable establishment. Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop, propose, describe, and price menus suitable for the outlet operation, market, and business goals.
  • Prepare and update the Outlet Kitchen’s Departmental Operations Manuals.
  • Attend weekly Food and Beverage and Department Head Meetings as scheduled.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings and regular communication meetings to ensure effectiveness.
  • Maintain and utilize other departmental communication channels such as notice boards, log books, and handover reports.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant, preferably with luxury international brand experience.
  • Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management is an advantage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Basic computer skills in MS Office; experience with Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.
