Job description

Our client is a 5* International Chain Hotel in Saudi Arabia with 300+ Rooms and multiple F&B Outlets.

Our client is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and highly creative Chef De Cuisine who is driven and excels in working within a high-paced and high-end restaurant environment.

This role will report directly to the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef.

Note: This position is available for Expats only.

Profile
  • Extensive experience in Pan Asian Cuisine with an emphasis on modern food
  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment
  • Background in notable high-end and vibrant Pan Asian stand-alone restaurants would be a plus
  • Strong in many facets of Pan Asian Cuisine
  • Ideally with some exposure to Japanese cuisine
  • Supervisory and management experience
  • Culinary school background
  • Having a “whatever it takes” attitude
  • Creative and innovative
  • Loves to cook and produces food of a high level with great attention to presentation
  • Ability to coordinate day-to-day kitchen operations and liaise closely with the F&B service team
  • Strong customer relations skills with a focus on guest engagement
  • Outgoing, enjoys guest contact, and is very visible on the floor
  • Passionate about food and menu creation
  • Good command of English
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and safety standards
  • Promotes teamwork
  • Displays flexibility
  • Culturally adaptable with a strong focus on team relationships
  • Patient and capable of coaching the kitchen team
