Minimum Requirements:

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-quality nursing care, compassion, and understanding for every patient, directly or indirectly.
  • Serve as a role model in providing safe and high-quality patient care.
  • Assist in optimizing resources to enhance safety and quality of care.
  • Supervise clinical care and be accountable for professional actions during shifts.
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Ensure physician orders are correctly implemented and clarify uncertainties.
  • Support the Head Nurse in maintaining high standards of nursing care.
  • Conduct effective handovers at shift changes.
  • Ensure confidentiality, legibility, and accuracy of all nursing documentation.
  • Demonstrate advanced pediatric and critical care cardiac nursing skills; act as a resource for nurses.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members, patients, and visitors.
  • Foster professional relationships and teamwork.
  • Administer medications safely according to policies and procedures.
  • Provide direct patient care and perform other nursing duties as needed.
  • Promote health education for patients and families.
  • Supervise and support the nursing team during shifts.
  • Coordinate with medical staff for appropriate patient care.
  • Manage supplies and staff resources efficiently, promoting conservation.
  • Review and suggest improvements for practices and policies.
  • Report and investigate incidents as required.

  • Lead, motivate, and evaluate staff performance.
