The role involves liaising with various teams to ensure smooth airing and coordination during high-demand periods, such as Ramadan. The ideal candidate will be a fresh graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication & Media, possessing strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic.

Job description

  • Handle all day-to-day Operational relationships with MBC1, Drama, +Drama, and Iraq various teams, and all MBC/Shahid internal teams
  • liaise with the acquisition, commissioning, production and media delivery team, to make sure all material received and available for airing.
  • Organize and conduct daily checks with the related teams.
  • Follow up, when needed, with any party to ensure all objectives are met.
  • Liaise with planning, scheduling, Editing, MCR/TCR, brand management, and all other stakeholders.
  • Ensure full focus and delivering a smooth Ramadan coordination, communication and material delivery due to a high volume of work.
  • Check the weekly missing list and keep tracking it everyday and make sure that no missing material on any channel for the coming 4 weeks.
  • Attend the Channels weekly updated meetings
  • Be the first contact point for the channel coordination and ensure any questions are answered. Escalate to channel management when conflicts arise or critical decisions.
  • Monitor channels all time and make sure everything going smoothly among all aspects.
  • Propose improvements and or flag any problems on any of the channels.
  • Notify key persons of any changes impacting schedules or programs.
  • Handling Special live events that happening on our channels.
  • Make sure to follow up and deliver any Management requests at anytime.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication & Media
  • Fresh Graduate.
  • Responsible and reliable.
  • Able to work extended shift hours and weekends.
  • Able to work accurately and reliably in a high-volume environment.
  • Have a strong service ethic.
  • Good command of English & Arabic.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent Communication capabilities.
  • Multitasker.
  • Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint.
