Develop finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction, establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
Attend meetings with top management on company’s internal financial affairs and give advice to the CEO on further steps.
Attend meetings with clients on business-related or company’s external financial affairs, update the CEO, and advise on further steps.
Train the Finance Unit and related staff on raising awareness and knowledge of company’s financial management matters.
Participate in developing new business, specifically: assist the CEO in identifying new funding opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost-effectiveness of prospective service delivery.
Establish finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; productivity, quality, and client service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
Ensure the necessary funds for operational expenses are ready in advance by discussing with the CEO.
Guide business development and the company’s other income-generating departments on their projects from quotation to invoice amount collection regarding the steps to be taken for the company’s profitability and maximum return.
Develop organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects, analyzing organization operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement, accumulating capital to fund expansion.
Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans.
Actively participate in steering committee and give good suggestions to the CEO.
Monitor and control fund utilization properly by discussing with the CEO.
Accomplish finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Evaluate all divisions and branches budget; take corrective or necessary action of changes if needed.
Approve fund transfers from company account after cross-checking and verifying.
Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development, and monitoring of organizational and contract/grant budgets.
Oversee all purchasing and payroll activities of the company.
Monitor & control banking activities of the organization.
Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.
Present financial reports to the CEO & top management.
Prepare, check, and verify company’s JV contracts, business association agreements for company’s safety, profitability, and stability.
Take part in monetary target allocation meetings of income-generating departments and provide experience-based suggestions.
Provide financial expertise on company’s bidding or other financial matters where needed.
Evaluate monetary contributions of departments and give necessary recommendations.
Maintain confidentiality at its best.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
CMA or CPA
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 10 years of sound experience in CFO role ( oil and gas sector preferred)
