## Job Description

We are currently seeking a Field Engineer - Turbo Machinery Control Systems to join our Honeywell Industrial Automation team in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The role involves installing, troubleshooting, operating, and configuring company products and systems at customer sites. The engineer will instruct customers in product usage.

## Responsibilities

  1. Pre-commissioning activities including system checkout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks, and communication testing.
  2. Understanding of control valve and flow measuring device functioning, with a moderate understanding of sizing.
  3. Testing and tuning, including machinery testing, control loop tuning, and troubleshooting.
  4. Providing remote technical support and systems engineering support.
  5. Preparing administrative reports, managing expenses, and providing aftermarket support.
  6. Understanding various plant processes at a moderate level.
  7. Providing customer training.
  8. Collaborating cross-functionally to support the entire lifecycle of products and enhance customer experience.
  9. Responding to change productively and handling other duties as required.
  10. Following all safety policies and procedures.

## Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a four-year college or university.
  • 5-10 years of experience with turbo machinery control systems (Compressors, Steam/Gas Turbines, Expanders, Generators) and process control.
  • Experience in power generation applications is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic electrical principles.
  • Proficiency in computers and networking.
  • PC and PLC programming skills are a plus.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations.
  • Basic training skills are preferred.
  • Experience with safety systems and/or TUV certification is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing).
  • Certified to work offshore or willing to complete required training.
