We are currently seeking a Field Engineer - Turbo Machinery Control Systems to join our Honeywell Industrial Automation team in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The role involves installing, troubleshooting, operating, and configuring our products and systems at customer sites, as well as instructing customers in product usage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-commissioning activities, including system checkout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks, and communication testing.
  • Understand the functioning of control valves and flow measuring devices, with a moderate understanding of sizing.
  • Perform testing and tuning, including machinery testing, control loop tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide remote technical support, systems engineering support, and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare administrative documents such as expenses and reports, and support aftermarket services.
  • Maintain a moderate understanding of various plant processes.
  • Train customers on product usage.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to support the entire lifecycle of our products and enhance customer experience.
  • Respond productively to change and undertake other duties as required.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures of the company.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 5-10 years of experience with turbo machinery control systems (Compressors, Steam/Gas Turbines, Expanders, Generators) and process control; prior experience in Power Generation is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic electrical principles.
  • Proficiency in computers and networking; PC and PLC programming skills are advantageous.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts effectively.
  • Basic training skills are preferred.
  • Experience with safety systems or TUV certification is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Certified to work offshore or willing to undergo necessary training.
