Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze market data to identify industry and consumer trends, leveraging insights to drive category growth.

- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with direct distributors and wholesalers to optimize product offerings.

- Develop annual budgets and sales targets for each category, ensuring profitability and alignment with business objectives.

- Implement business plans to achieve strategic goals, overseeing pricing strategies and margin maintenance.

- Monitor and optimize category performance, implementing exit strategies for underperforming products.

- Build strong vendor relationships to negotiate favorable pricing and ensure quality service delivery.

- Manage inventory levels and product availability to meet customer demand and maximize sales opportunities.

- Strategically position product categories to enhance visibility and market share.

- Conduct competitive analysis to monitor pricing trends and market positioning.

- Collaborate closely with buyers and merchandisers to expand and diversify product categories.


Requirements- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Buyer or Category Manager in the FMCG sector.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Proficient in financial analysis and budget management.
