Job description

Cashier Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers and provide them with friendly and helpful service
2. Operate scanners, cash registers, scales, and other electronics needed during the checkout process
3. Answer customer questions and assist as needed
4. Balance the cash register and generate reports as needed
5. Resolve complaints, including processing refunds and returns
6. Bag purchases as needed if a Bagger is not present
7. Familiarize yourself with and follow store procedures for coupons, gift cards, etc., and for the sale of alcohol and tobacco products
8. Maintain a neat and tidy workspace.

Cashier Requirements:

1. Previous experience working as a Cashier or other customer service position
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills
3. Basic math skills, including the ability to make change
4. Positive and friendly attitude
5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
