Job summary

Client of NOK for Human Capital is seeking a Production Planning Technician to support and coordinate planning and scheduling of carton production orders based on customer requirements. The role involves preparing production schedules, determining machine sequences, and coordinating with Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure on-time delivery.

You will monitor raw material requirements, analyze variances, and update schedules as priorities shift, helping improve production efficiency

Qualifications

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, production planning, manufacturing or related field.
Experience in carton, paper, packaging, printing, or manufacturing settings preferred.
Strong knowledge of production processes and machine capacity.
Proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP or production planning software.
Excellent follow-up, coordination, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production orders.
Detail-oriented with accurate records and reporting.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule carton production orders based on customer orders and delivery dates.
Prepare daily and weekly production plans for machines and lines.
Determine machine sequences to optimize capacity and minimize downtime.
Review production orders and ensure raw materials are available.
Follow up on required quantities of paper materials and other inputs.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Purchasing and Sales/Customer Service departments.
Monitor progress and ensure completion according to the schedule.
Update production schedules as priorities or deliveries change.
Monitor planned vs actual production and prepare regular reports.
Maintain accurate records of production plans, output, and order status.
