Job description

About the Company

Riyadh Air (RX), headquartered in the Saudi Capital, is the new national airline that’s shaping the future of flying. It seeks to lead the aviation industry by transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub – a digitally native airline that will connect the kingdom to more than 100 destinations.

About the Role

Ready to help shaping the foundation of a world-class cargo operation driven by compliance, safety, and regulatory excellence?

Yours is a role that will see you ensure full compliance with all cargo related regulatory, security, safety, and quality standards. Taking complete ownership of developing and maintaining global cargo SOPs, leading Dangerous Goods (DG) initiatives, and driving operational excellence are vital in this role. Overall this requirement will ensure audit readiness, continuous improvement, and stakeholder alignment across Riyadh Air’s network.

Overall management of investigations into cargo safety and compliance issues, manage secure supply chain processes, and ensure strict adherence to IATA, ICAO, and national authority standards. Whether overseeing GHA audits, managing recurring compliance risks, or optimising screening procedures, your work will be critical to Riyadh Air’s mission of building a globally respected cargo operation.

A pivotal aspect of your role will be regulatory engagement and third-party coordination, ensuring that our partners meet Riyadh Air’s high compliance standards while contributing to certification processes and a culture of safety and integrity.

This is your opportunity to build and lead a cargo compliance function for the world’s first digitally native airline.

About You

Degree qualified, you will bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in cargo operations, compliance, or auditing, ideally within an airline or ground handling environment.

You will hold a valid Dangerous Goods (DG) qualification and strong knowledge of IATA, ICAO Annexes (6, 9, 17, and 18), DGR, and AVSEC standards.

You have led audits, managed safety incidents, and driven improvements across complex operational networks. Your background includes developing SOPs, conducting investigations, and working closely with regulators, GHAs, and internal teams. You are fluent in English, and Arabic is an advantage. LAR certification is a plus.

This is your opportunity to shape the future of air travel. Bring your best and show us why you can own this position within Riyadh Air.
