Job Purpose:
To lead the requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and 2nd level support of IT solutions for the IT credit cards (retail and commercial/corporate, Islamic and conventional) platform

Key Accountabilities
• To resolve, identify solution, or identify the root cause of issues with the discrepancies/outages in a timely manner.
• To lead in the analysis, design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions for the credit card system/s.
• To support the requirements gathering, development, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions for the credit card system/s.
• To identify the procedures/processes improvements.
• To work with related business/operation teams, ITCC support team, QA/testing team, external vendors, internal IT teams to ensure that development activities are in sync with overall project target and objectives.
• To work with IT teams such as Client Engagement and Project Delivery to maintain project plans and project documentation.
• To ensure that all changes comply with local regulations, audit, PCI, Shariah, and information and cyber security requirements.
• To work with Network and Infrastructure to ensure that the appropriate hardware, software, storage, and network are in place.
• To identify resource and equipment requirements, efficient capacity planning and manage software and hardware availability.
• Ensures that the systems and technology used are constantly upgraded to remain up to date with the latest application versions releases.
• To lead the technical activities required to certify the bank's credit card solutions/systems with local and international networks.
• To guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively.
• Validate test conditions (test plans' accuracy and completeness) and reviews testing efforts/progress (ensuring testing is done according to plan).
• Assist the Tech Lead, Project Manager/PMO in progress reports, plan, scoping, implementation, and vendor management.
• To make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation.
• To provide 2nd Level production/DR support and follow change control life cycle of issue reporting, investigation, analysis & fix or follow up with vendor.
• To analyze issues, obtain the fix, and support the testing cycle thoroughly within stipulated time and meet target deadline.
• To provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Assist the business analyst in preparing accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents.
• Provides guidance to business users, some of which is technical.
• Adherence to the bank's established procedures, policies, and guidelines.
• Pursue other related system activities as directed by superiors.

Skills

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems (or a related field), or equivalent experience is required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing, developing, implementing and/or supporting Credit Card Systems.
  • Knowledge and extensive experience in Cortex Credit Card Management System, Visa and MasterCard clearing and settlement, ISO8583 online interface, related systems, i.e., VROL, MC Connect, VTS, MCPS, Visa Edit Package, MC Clearing Optimizer... and related tools is a must.
  • Knowledge and extensive experience in VisionPlus and Apex Card Issuance System is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in chip/EMV card issuance (retail and commercial/corporate), card tokenization, HSM and key management, PCI-DSS, Discover Global Network, JCB, China UnionPay, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, Huawei Pay, American Express is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Middle East (mainly, but not limited to, KSA, Bahrain and UAE) regulatory markets

Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing/ developing/ implementing or supporting Visa and MasterCard Credit Card issuing through Cortex CCMS or Vision Plus.
  • Experience in HSM is a plus.
  • PMP/ Prince 2 certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record for project delivery within time, budget, and quality.
