Job summary

Bupa Cardiology Department is seeking a Cardiology Technician to support diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. You will perform cardiac tests, prepare patients, document results in EMR, and coordinate care with the medical team.

Requirements include a high school diploma, cardiovascular tech certification or associate degree, and BLS (ACLS as needed). This is a full-time role in a fast-paced healthcare setting, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification or associate degree in cardiovascular technology or related field preferred.
BLS certification required; ACLS as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform and assist with cardiac diagnostic tests (ECG, stress tests, Holter monitoring, echocardiograms) under supervision of a cardiologist.
Prepare patients for procedures, obtain medical history and explain processes.
Assist physicians and nurses in procedures and coordinate patient care.
Educate patients on cardiovascular conditions, procedures, and follow-up care.
Record results and patient data in EMR systems accurately and maintain confidentiality.
Maintain and calibrate cardiology equipment and ensure infection control protocols.
Ensure safe and compliant operation of department with safety as a priority.
Stay updated with advances in cardiology technology and participate in ongoing training.
