- Develop and implement calibration procedures for various measurement and testing equipment to ensure precision and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform routine calibration and adjustments on instruments such as pressure vessels, gauges, and thermometers to minimize measurement errors.
- Design and execute validation studies to assess the effectiveness and reliability of calibration methods.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify and resolve issues in measurement processes, supporting continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of calibration activities, including procedures, results, and corrective actions for traceability and audit readiness.
- Provide training and technical support to staff on proper use and handling of calibrated equipment.
- Evaluate and select calibration tools, software, and technologies that align with system requirements and improve operational efficiency.
- Research and adopt new calibration methodologies and technologies to improve accuracy, reduce cost, and align with industry advancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Calibration Engineer for 3–5 years.
- Strong understanding of calibration standards and regulatory compliance.
Skills:
- Proficient in the use of calibration software and calibration equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair calibration tools.
- Hands-on experience with pressure vessels, pressure gauges, and thermometric devices.
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
