We are currently seeking an experienced Calibration & Automation Supervisor to oversee our calibration and automation functions at the Medina Plant. This role is central to ensuring product quality, process efficiency, and compliance with industry standards while supporting the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

As Calibration & Automation Supervisor, you will oversee a wide scope of responsibilities including calibration of instruments and equipment, supervision of automation systems, preventive maintenance, process optimization, troubleshooting, compliance with regulatory standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a technical leader with strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience in automation, and the ability to build a culture of precision and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor calibration schedules for all plant instruments, equipment, and measuring devices.

• Supervise and maintain automation systems including PLCs, SCADA, sensors, and instrumentation to ensure optimal performance.

• Lead troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of control systems and automation equipment.

• Collaborate with Production, QA, and Engineering teams to resolve system and equipment-related issues.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies for calibration and automation.

• Maintain detailed records of calibration, test results, and equipment performance.

• Provide training and technical guidance to team members on calibration and automation systems.

• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize production processes.

• Monitor spare parts and tools inventory related to calibration and automation.

• Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and accountability within the team.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or related field.

• Licensed Engineer (preferred but not required).

• At least 5 years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, or automation within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

• Strong technical knowledge of PLC, SCADA, sensors, control systems, and industrial automation.

• Experience in preventive maintenance and calibration program implementation.

• Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, HACCP, and other manufacturing quality requirements.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant calibration/automation software tools.
