Job Description

The Cake Decorator & Skilled Finish Clerk is a Production Clerk responsible for skilled finishing work with cakes and specialty items within the Department's Manufacturing Section. Key duties include following the production schedule, icing cakes and specialty items, applying custom or general decorations, creating artwork, packaging, and producing related novelty items according to departmental guidelines. Secondary duties include related activities as assigned, including those performed by less specialized Production Clerks.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Availability: Must be available to work 35+ hours per week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
2. Experience: Prior experience with bakery finishing and cake decoration is preferred.
3. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 80 lbs.
4. Other Considerations: Productivity, organizational skills, ability to work independently, reliability, and dependability.
