CAD Operator is responsible for designing layouts. Operates CAD system and produces clear, technically accurate drawings based on design specifications.

Key Accountabilities

The position involves:

1. Drawing, modifying, and plotting buildings, systems, components, or other drawings from design concepts or mark-ups from Architects, Engineers, Designers, or Project Managers.
2. Working with CAD systems to create, modify, and release drawings and word documents under supervision for use by other departments and clients.
3. Working from drawings, sketches, scanned images, customer drawings, or government specifications.
4. Coordinating reproductions and reprographic services such as scanning hard copies or special plots.
5. Using CAD software to develop construction and zoning drawings for city approval, including site documentation and measurements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are looking for:

• A diploma in Architectural Model Making or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
