CAD Operator is responsible for designing the layouts. Operates CAD system and produces clear and technically accurate drawings based on design specifications.
Key Accountabilities
The position involves:
• Drawing, Modifying and Plotting - buildings, systems, components (or whatever the drawing are to be) from design concepts or by mark-ups from Architects, Engineers, Designers, or Project Managers.
• Working with CAD systems creating, modifying and releasing drawings and word drawings under direct supervision of a supervisor for use by other departments and customers.
• Working from drawings, sketches or scanned images, customer drawings, or government drawings or specifications
• Coordinating reproductions and other reprographic services, such as scanning hard copies or special plots.
• Using CAD software to develop construction and zoning drawings for city approval. Able to visit a job site and document all existing structures (site sketch measurements, photographs, designs) in order to produce a quality zoning and construction drawing. Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
• Diploma in Architectural Model Making or any other equivalent course.
• From 03 to 05 years experience in the related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
