Job description

Job Purpose

Procurement of materials purchase orders and agreements. Optimization of procurement and strategies within categories by analyzing spend patterns and market conditions.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Within specific categories, handle the full procurement cycle of materials POs or agreements in accordance with Luberef P&C policies and procedures
• Review scopes of work for sufficiency, source bidders, gather and develop of RFQ documents, coordinate of responses to bidders’ Q&A, evaluate bids, and award POs and agreements
• Procure and administer PO agreement modifications and terminations
• Partner with the business to ensure alignment of procurement requests to category strategy
• Propose procurement strategies based on commercial and technical applicability and impact in order to manage business and supplier risks, minimize cycle-time, and maximize cost savings
• Lead and support supplier negotiations for price and T/Cs where negotiation skills are required.
• Define and recommend materials category strategies
• Analyze service needs and consumption rates. Challenge quantities and payment schedules
• Realize savings by partnering with end-users to make strategic procurement decisions using knowledge and understanding of end-user needs
• Perform any other job-related duties requested by immediate supervisor/manager
