Title: Business Manager

Job Summary:

The Business Manager supports the Program Director in proactive client engagement, maintaining vigilance and sensitivity to client perceptions throughout the program's lifecycle.

Interacts regularly with client counterparts to discover, assess, and address relationship concerns early and decisively.

Discusses with the client ways to mitigate issues and concerns.

Contract administration includes managing all WERs and PAFs.

The Business Manager has the responsibility and accountability for:

1. Procurement and support services for subcontracting.
2. Project controls, cost management, and planning.
3. Preparation and submission of all weekly and monthly project control documentation as required by the contract.
4. Coordination with finance for invoicing.
5. Proposal preparation.
6. Training and development.
7. IT and design systems.
8. Document control administration.
9. SAPMT seconded personnel.

A background in project control is essential.

Experience in the offshore industry or similar mega projects, with a relevant engineering degree, is required. A thorough knowledge of engineering is essential.

The candidate must be cost-conscious with a good understanding of fundamental planning principles.
