Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedBusiness Head – Valvesto lead and grow our valves division in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the industrial valves market within the Gulf region, with a proven track record of strategic leadership, business development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets for the valves division in the region.
Business Development:Identify new market opportunities across sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, water, and utilities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, and EPC contractors.
Sales & Marketing:Drive sales initiatives, manage key accounts, and oversee the development of marketing plans tailored to the regional market.
Operations Management:Ensure smooth execution of projects, efficient supply chain coordination, inventory control, and after-sales support.
Team Management:Lead and mentor a cross-functional team including sales, technical, and support staff to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
P&L Responsibility:Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the division. Manage cost controls and drive profitability.
Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all business activities comply with local laws, industry standards, and company policies.
Market Intelligence:Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and technological advancements to keep the business agile and competitive.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum10 years of experiencein industrial valves or a related industry, with at least 5 years in the Gulf region (preferably KSA).
Strong knowledge of valve products, applications, and customer segments.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing P&L and cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong network within key industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, and infrastructure in the GCC.
