DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (DGFF) specializes in air, ocean, and road freight, offering both standardized and specialized end-to-end solutions globally.

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Business Development Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves developing and managing business development strategies to generate new business, maximize profits, and grow market share in line with our strategic, financial, and policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of business development plans to achieve customer growth, retention, revenue, and budget targets.
• Develop new business and increase DPDHL's exposure among targeted prospects.
• Use market and feasibility studies to assess market potential.
• Identify new business opportunities and initiate contact with prospects.
• Match prospective customer needs with DHL’s services.
• Follow up on leads, conduct pre-proposal visits, prepare proposals, and negotiate terms.
• Build relationships with prospects and key accounts.
• Initiate relationships with non-buying accounts targeted by the company.
• Coordinate efforts to meet customer requests and promote services.
• Collaborate with inside sales and share competitive and supplier data with product management.
• Identify and adapt to problems beyond own authority without predefined procedures.
• Explain policies and practices to internal and external parties within guidelines.

Qualifications

• Over 6 years of experience in the same field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
