Business Development Manager - Air Freight

Position: Business Development Manager – Air Freight in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop business development strategies aligned with company goals, financial targets, and policies.
  2. Create business plans and budgets, including account management and regional plans.
  3. Monitor revenue, profit, expenses, and oversee market and customer growth.
  4. Initiate and promote new business development initiatives to enhance DHL's market presence.
  5. Lead sales efforts to establish relationships with prospective clients.
  6. Conduct market and feasibility studies to assess potential opportunities.
  7. Identify new business opportunities through research and marketing initiatives.
  8. Engage with government authorities and relevant stakeholders for business development.
  9. Develop and pursue profitable relationships with key customers.
  10. Lead negotiations for acquiring new clients and support complex sales negotiations.
  11. Collaborate with peers to address sales challenges and gather feedback.
  12. Stay informed on industry trends and adapt business development plans accordingly.
  13. Enhance existing business development methods and resolve unstructured problems.
  14. Manage external relationships with skeptical clients and institutions.
  15. Supervise and motivate the business development team, including work assignment and performance management.
  16. Support recruitment, training, and coaching of team members.

Candidate Profile:

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: Over 6 years in Business Development, Sales, or related fields
