Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will lead localized brand positioning, business development strategy, and content development. This role is embedded within the KSA delivery team and is responsible for aligning business development output. The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Market-Focused Marketing Strategy
  • Develop, implement, and monitor business development strategies aligned with business goals and priorities.
  • Maintain strong market intelligence on sector shifts, trends, and competitor positioning.
  • Provide strategic input to OPTIMA Management Team on market feedback, metrics, and growth positioning.
  • Localize all marketing materials and communications to reflect Saudi public/private client expectations and terminology.
Proposal and Bid Support
  • Manage the proposals preparation process.
  • Support expressions of interest, pre-qualification documents, and formal proposal submissions by drafting, editing, and structuring Arabic/English marketing content in coordination with the team.
  • Support with technical inputs and translate them into client-focused value propositions.
  • Maintain up-to-date collateral, capability statements, and credentials in both English and Arabic.
Brand Building and Client Engagement
  • Build thought leadership visibility through articles, events, white papers, and media engagements.
  • Represent OPTIMA at industry events, marketing briefings, and client forums within KSA and the GCC.
  • Collaborate with internal HR and Marketing teams to support employer branding, onboarding decks, and internal campaigns.
Communications and Content Oversight
  • Oversee all campaign messaging (digital and print), ensuring alignment with brand identity.
  • Manage digital presence on optimaglobal.com and LinkedIn, ensuring search visibility, relevant hashtags, and consistent branding.
  • Serve as the brand guardian for all materials issued by KSA teams.
Project Execution
  • Participate in project execution activities where applicable, supporting proposal handover, content development for project deliverables, and client-facing documentation.
  • Possess sufficient technical understanding of FM/O+M consultancy services to contribute meaningfully to live projects alongside SMEs and project leads.
Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant FM Consultancy field.
  • 10 years of B2B marketing experience in KSA, focusing on FM, real estate, or built environment sectors.
  • Strong understanding of FM/O+M consultancy services and proposal development.
  • Native-level Arabic (spoken and written), fluent in English.
  • Deep knowledge of the Saudi FM market, including regulatory, procurement, and client landscape.
  • Ability to collaborate with project teams and contribute to FM/O+M deliverables.

Preferred

  • Experience in proposal writing for design/FM consultancy or DB + Operate projects.
  • Exposure to strategic marketing in Vision 2030 projects, NEOM, or giga-program ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of digital FM, CAFM, BIM-FM integration is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with service line documentation such as ORAT strategies, FCA reports, or FM mobilization plans is advantageous.
