Business Development Manager - 3PL Logistics - (528)
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Commercial Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute a strategic plan to attract healthcare sector suppliers seeking efficient logistics solutions, focusing on 3PL services. Identify and approach potential suppliers to present Zahrawi's logistics offerings.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in supplier organizations to position Zahrawi as their preferred logistics partner. Cultivate long-term relationships through ongoing engagement.
- Pricing, Financial Modelling, and Negotiations: Lead pricing discussions, financial modelling, and contract/SLA negotiations with prospective suppliers. Secure long-term partnerships aligning Zahrawi’s services with supplier needs and market demands.
- Market Intelligence and Growth: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities. Drive revenue growth by achieving targets for new supplier acquisitions and expanding logistics services.
- Sales Performance and Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights to senior management. Track and report KPIs, including revenue growth and new partnerships.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with operations, regulatory, and finance teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients. Ensure alignment with client requirements and timelines.
- Customer Satisfaction and Service Execution: Coordinate with operations to meet obligations and ensure customer satisfaction. Address and resolve service issues promptly.
- Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure adherence to KSA logistics regulations, industry standards, and healthcare logistics requirements. Regularly review processes for compliance.
- Logistics Services Promotion: Promote Zahrawi logistics services through lead generation and outreach. Visit multinational companies in KSA to position Zahrawi as their logistics partner.
- Engagement with SMEs and Government Entities: Engage with SMEs seeking 3PL services and connect with government entities needing storage and distribution facilities for healthcare logistics.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 10+ years
- Job Specific Skills: Experience in domestic logistics with strong sales and supply chain knowledge; familiarity with local healthcare logistics regulations; strong business acumen; 3PL experience preferred; excellent networking, negotiation, and communication skills in English and Arabic; experience with pricing, financial modelling, and contracts.
