Job Title: Business Development
Job Summary:
The Business Development role is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities. It involves developing and executing strategic plans, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and aligning efforts with the organization's overall goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify and engage potential clients and partners, especially in Energy, Specialty Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, FMCG, Pharma, and other industries for technical staffing, O&M, installation, and commissioning services.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key customers for long-term partnerships.
- Lead and manage the business development team to achieve targets, fostering a high-performance culture through guidance, motivation, and training.
- Negotiation & Deal Closing:
- Oversee negotiations and ensure the successful closure of high-value contracts and partnerships.
- Draft and review proposals, agreements, and contracts aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to implement initiatives seamlessly.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Monitor budgets and allocate resources efficiently for business development activities.
- Track KPIs to evaluate strategy effectiveness.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development within Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, or EPC industries.
- Proven expertise in technical staffing, operations & maintenance, commissioning, and installation services.
- Strong financial management skills, including P&L oversight.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
