Job Purpose:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth strategies and increasing revenue by developing strong relationships with clients and strategic partners. This role involves identifying new market opportunities, analyzing them, and crafting technical proposals that meet the diverse needs of clients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managing Client and Supplier Relationships:
- Build and maintain a robust and diverse client base.
- Establish and sustain productive relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Engage with existing and potential clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
2 Preparing Technical Proposals:
- Develop technical proposals in a format and structure that align with each client's requirements across various sectors.
- Ensure that proposals meet client expectations and specific needs.
- Present technical proposals professionally, tailored to market and sector-specific demands.
3 Handling RFPs and Other Platforms:
- Previous experience managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) on various platforms, including direct procurement.
- Oversee the RFP process and ensure compliance with specified standards and requirements.
4 Market Analysis and Identifying New Opportunities:
- Conduct market research and data analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance performance and increase market share.
- Monitor market trends and developments across different sectors.
5 Deep Understanding of the Marketing Sector:
- Possess a thorough understanding of the marketing sector's dynamics.
- Understand the types of services offered in this sector and tailor proposals accordingly.
- Offer advice and suggestions to improve marketing strategies and enhance effectiveness.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in business development or a related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build excellent professional relationships.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to offer innovative solutions.
- Extensive experience in developing and adapting technical proposals according to client requirements.
