To lead local content opportunities development activities in the Healthcare & Pharma Sectors Department through building and maintaining relationships with influencers in the specific sectors and support in building business cases and feasibility analysis to realize identified opportunities to increase local content in the Kingdom.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Development and Relationship Management
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of new potential entities and strategic partners through making regular visits to clients to get updates on market needs and further requirements, ensuring the generation of opportunity leads to expand LCGPA’s influence in the sector.
- Lead developing and maintaining relationships with existing economic development entities for local content opportunities and facilitate continuous operations with LCGPA.
- Coordinate and communicate regularly with internal teams (e.g., Corporate Communications, Local Content Partnerships) to keep stakeholders informed of upcoming opportunities, ensuring collaborative efforts, minimizing overlaps, and maintaining partner satisfaction.
Business Case Development
- Lead the development of business cases for local opportunities, providing sector-specific insights to customize development.
- Guide the preparation of feasibility studies, analyzing aspects like NPV, CAPEX, OPEX, IRR, etc., to represent opportunities accurately.
- Prioritize local content opportunities to select those suitable for initiative development and implementation.
- Lead the ideation and conceptualization of initiatives for prioritized opportunities to increase local content.
Supply-base Analysis
- Collect, maintain, and analyze client satisfaction and supply base data to ensure ongoing collaboration within the market network.
Opportunity Implementation
- Support the development of sector-specific local content tools to aid initiatives and projects.
- Manage relationships with private sector, economic entities, and stakeholders during implementation to ensure clarity of roles and desired impact.
Deals Planning and Closing
- Plan, prepare, and release business proposals to stakeholders to support local content opportunities.
- Lead activities and meetings to achieve targets, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Follow up on deals and agreements to ensure timely closure according to contracts.
Contract Management
- Support contract formulation, negotiation, and finalization, proposing advantageous terms to protect LCGPA’s interests.
Policies, Systems, and Reports
- Adhere to relevant policies and procedures, ensuring work is consistent and controlled.
- Assist in preparing accurate reports and deliverables to meet functional requirements.
