Overall Job Purpose:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth and
diversification of the organization by developing and implementing effective business strategies. This role will focus on expanding the client base, increasing revenue, and ensuring the long-term sustainability and success of the organization.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage key relationships and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Growth Strategies & Plans: Create and implement effective businessdevelopment strategies to drive long-term growth and revenue.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships withexisting clients to ensure retention and maximize business opportunities.
- Increasing Client Base: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expandthe client base and achieve sales targets.
- Product Knowledge & Value Proposition: Acquire an in-depth understanding ofthe company's products and services, effectively communicating the valueproposition to potential clients.
- Business Proposal Writing: Develop and present compelling business proposals toclients and stakeholders
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with stakeholders to secure favorable terms andclose new business deals.
- Mapping Business Strengths & Customer Needs: Identify key strengths within thebusiness and align them with customer needs to create mutually beneficialpartnerships.
- Market Research: Research market opportunities, industry trends, and viable incomestreams to ensure the business remains competitive and responsive to changingdemands.
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Source new sales opportunities through both inboundlead follow-up and outbound cold calling/emails.
- Onboarding & Account Management: Open new accounts, establish credit facilities, and develop operational procedures to ensure smooth onboarding for customers.
- Sales Quotas & Closing: Close sales deals to meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas.
- Account Research & Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct in-depth research ontarget accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest in the company'sofferings.

- Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage relationships with diverse
stakeholders, ensuring alignment of goals and maintaining productive partnerships. - Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate terms and agreements that benefitboth the organization and its clients.
- Strategic Thinking: Experience in the design and implementation of businessdevelopment strategies.
- Conflict Resolution: Ability to identify and resolve conflicts effectively, maintainingpositive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-Motivation & Team Leadership: Ability to self-motivate, manage multipletasks, and lead teams to exceed targets.
- Target-Driven: A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Industry Knowledge: Awareness of industry trends and the competitive landscapelocally and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3-5 years experience in a business development role within the Saudi
Arabian market.
Familiarity with the local business culture and regulations.
A strong network of business contacts within relevant industries is a plus.
