The Business Development Manager is responsible for expanding WebBeds’ presence in the assigned region by identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue, improve market penetration, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires a highly motivated, results-driven individual with a strong background in sales, business development, and relationship management within the travel and hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of B2B accommodation distribution, API / XML connectivity, and the competitive landscape. The Business Development Manager will also work cross-functionally with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of WebBeds’ commercial strategy. Key elements to the role include, but not limited to : Business Development & Sales Growth. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand WebBeds' client base and revenue streams. Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to attract and convert new clients. Proactively generate leads through market research, industry networking, and referrals. Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and agreements with prospective and existing clients. Work closely with the sales leadership team to develop regional sales action plans aligned with company objectives. Account Management & Client Relations. Manage and nurture relationships with key clients to drive long-term business growth and customer retention. Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and engagement. Conduct regular business reviews and performance assessments with key clients. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and increasing account profitability. Provide product training and support to clients to maximize engagement with WebBeds’ offerings. Market Analysis & Strategic Insights Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to develop data-driven sales strategies. Provide regular insights and reports on market performance, challenges, and growth opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance product offerings and address market demands. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with the Marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and marketing materials to support sales initiatives. Partner with Revenue Management and Product teams to ensure competitive pricing and inventory availability. Liaise with IT and Technical teams to facilitate seamless API / XML integrations for clients. Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely payments and resolution of financial issues. Event & Trade Show Representation Represent WebBeds at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads. Develop strong professional networks within the travel and hospitality industry. Participate in panel discussions, presentations, and workshops to showcase WebBeds’ expertise and solutions. The skills we would love to see in your suitcase! Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the B2B travel or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of travel distribution, API / XML connectivity, and digital sales channels. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment. Experience in contract negotiations and commercial discussions with B2B partners. Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, business opportunities, and client performance. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
