We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the oilfield services sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to the strategic growth of our oilfield operations. This role requires a deep understanding of oil & gas industry dynamics, particularly upstream exploration and production (E&P) activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oilfield services sector, including drilling, well intervention, completions, production services, and related operations.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients such as E&P companies, drilling contractors, and service providers.
• Conduct market analysis and competitor research to support business strategy and pricing models.
• Work closely with operations, engineering, and project management teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
• Prepare and present detailed technical and commercial proposals for tenders and bids.
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build market presence.
• Track, report, and forecast sales activity using CRM tools and dashboards.
• Support contract negotiations and manage ongoing customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of business development or sales experience in the oilfield services industry.
• Strong understanding of upstream oil & gas operations and the oilfield service supply chain.
• Proven track record of winning tenders and growing market share.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to client sites, regional offices, and field locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Existing client network within major E&P companies or oilfield contractors.
• Experience with international oilfield markets and regulatory environments.
• Familiarity with service contracts, master service agreements (MSAs), and commercial terms.
