Job description

1. Market Research & Analysis

• Identify and analyze new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.

• Conduct competitor analysis to inform strategic direction.

• Collect and interpret market intelligence to support decision-making.

2. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition

• Identify and approach potential clients, partners, and suppliers.

• Develop strategies to generate leads and expand the customer base.

• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective business opportunities.

3. Relationship Management

• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.

• Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

4. Sales Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement sales strategies for new products.

• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and tenders.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals.

5. Partnerships & Alliances

• Identify and develop strategic partnerships and alliances.

• Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements.

• Manage and grow relationships with suppliers, agents, and distributors.

6. Product & Service Development

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop or enhance products and services based on market feedback.

• Provide input on product positioning, pricing, and marketing strategies.

7. Planning & Reporting

• Set business development goals and KPIs; monitor progress.

• Prepare regular reports on business development activities and results.

• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

8. Brand Promotion & Networking

• Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and networking functions.

• Enhance the company’s visibility and reputation in the market.

• Develop marketing materials and campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.

9. Team Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to align business development efforts.

• Mentor and support junior business development staff.

• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
