Job Description

The Business Development Executive is a front-line, quota-carrying role supporting the sale of Governance, Risk, and Compliance products to Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the Account Director. The successful candidate will drive customer acquisition and deepen penetration of existing customers through incremental sales of GRC products and services, and qualify marketing-generated leads. Responsibilities include developing viable sales leads via inbound and outbound calls and scheduling initial sales calls or appointments between clients and the Account Director.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop Calling Plans & Lead Qualification/Progression: Create and follow a daily calling plan, including pre-call planning and industry-specific scripts. Qualify all marketing-generated opportunities, ensuring prospects have the intent to buy, budget, and a purchase timeframe. Coordinate initial contact with leads.
  2. Sales Targets: Meet overall territory revenue goals, product-specific revenue goals, and strategic product goals (e.g., sales to flagship accounts, increased vertical penetration).
  3. Market Penetration: Increase penetration of GRC products and services into existing and new accounts.
  4. Lead Follow-up: Follow up on inbound leads to qualify and nurture them.
  5. Outbound Calling: Implement outbound calling programs to increase GRC penetration.
  6. Communication Skills: Demonstrate advanced verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is mandatory.
  7. Experience: 1-3 years in sales or client service roles, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Time Management: Efficiently plan qualification and sales calls.
  9. Industry Knowledge: 1-3 years experience in team selling, with a strong understanding of GRC needs preferred.
  10. Business Acumen: Ability to identify key business issues and provide actionable recommendations.
  11. GRC Knowledge: Familiarity or ability to learn GRC requirements is highly desirable.
