Overview
Drive and initiate new sources of B2B revenue by penetrating untapped channels and customers, as well as promoting innovative product solutions within existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Market & Category Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of current markets, new industry verticals, and emerging technological applications to identify high-potential growth areas. Define Total Addressable Market (TAM), expansion strategies, and exit plans for underperforming categories.
- New Revenue Stream Development: Develop and execute strategies for new product launches or entry into new markets. Collaborate closely with local sales leaders to ensure successful implementation. Where new technologies are required, prepare feasibility studies and business cases, including capex, resource needs, ROI, and competitive positioning.
- Customer Engagement & Solution Development: Lead discussions with key customers, working with R&D to co-create customized solutions that improve their end products or address complex challenges.
- Key Account Development: Identify and build relationships with strategic target customers across the region.
- Insights & Intelligence: Leverage data-driven insights and market intelligence to strengthen commercial strategies.
- Market Expansion: Lead entry into new markets, presenting top management with detailed execution strategies and revenue projections.
Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to generate new B2B revenue streams by penetrating new markets and driving growth in value-added products.
- 12–15 years of progressive commercial experience in B2B business development.
- Demonstrated track record of developing growth strategies, leading customer engagements, and delivering sustained revenue results.
- Strong commercial acumen, data-driven mindset, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
