About the job

The role is responsible for driving ADC's growth by identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding market reach. This role involves leading business development initiatives, managing high-value relationships, and ensuring alignment with ADC's commercial strategy to enhance revenue and market positioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the business development strategy, ensuring alignment with ADC's overall commercial goals.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, strategic alliances, and potential acquisitions to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead high-level negotiations and relationship management with key industry stakeholders, government bodies, and enterprise clients.
  • Oversee the expansion of ADC's connectivity solutions, ensuring penetration into new markets and industry verticals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Strategy, and Partnerships, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies, leveraging insights to refine business strategies.
  • Ensure the successful execution of business development initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting progress to senior leadership.
  • Manage budget planning and resource allocation, optimizing investments for business development initiatives.
  • Represent ADC in industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and create business opportunities.
  • Drive a culture of innovation and strategic growth, mentoring teams and fostering collaboration to achieve business expansion objectives.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of driving business growth and managing high-value partnerships in the telecom or technology sector.
