Job Description

Job Purpose: Jobs at this level are responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to B2B clients. The role holder shall drive innovation, identify new business opportunities, and develop tailored solutions to meet the needs of the industrial and logistics sector. Duties are carried out in accordance with business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development of technical and business knowledge across target verticals/industries.
  2. Conduct detailed market assessments to identify concepts and prioritize opportunities.
  3. Identify needs across target verticals to design concepts and use cases.
  4. Develop initial go-to-market strategies, including business models, cases, and partnerships.
  5. Conduct client workshops and leverage channels like Enterprise Briefing Centers to present concepts and formalize collaborations.
  6. Conduct proofs of concept (PoCs) to validate viability and refine assumptions.
  7. Support Bid Management with client RfP scope inputs.
  8. Collaborate with Solution Architecture for complex project design.
  9. Work with Digital Solutions (BD) on sector strategies and GTM approaches.
  10. Handover opportunities to Sales after reaching maturity (e.g., MoU signature, RfP issuance).
  11. Support sales post-handover until deal closure.
  12. Identify key internal/external partners for solution development.
  13. Provide market feedback and product ideas to product managers.

Experience & Skills

  • 8-10 years of experience in the sector.
  • Knowledge of the industrial & logistics sector, market trends, and competition.
  • Strong business development principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field; Master's Degree preferred. Certifications such as Certified Business Development Professional (CBDP) and Certified Strategic Planner (CSP) are recommended.
