An established industry player seeks a dynamic business development lead to spearhead initiatives in Korea and SEAP. This role involves building strategic partnerships, coordinating with senior management, and analyzing business opportunities in the vibrant mobile gaming landscape. You will:
• Be the first point of contact and independently lead all business development initiatives in Korea and SEAP for Sandsoft
• Work closely with our local partners to connect with opportunities in relation to games publishing, IP and studio acquisition in the region
• Build relationships with the local game developers and publishers and identify opportunities for partnerships
• Be responsible for all coordination between the Senior Management team and the chosen partner
• Integrate internal and external resources to support Sandsoft and realize synergies
• Monitor business and financial performances with Senior Management team
• Carry out in-depth analysis of business cases and partners to support management decision-making
• Coordinate cross functional teams
To be successful in the role you need:
• At least 5 years of experience in the local mobile games industry
• To be well-connected within the mobile gaming industry network in Korea and SEAP
• Fluency in Korean and English
• Work experience in business development, game publishing, and M&A
• Be enthusiastic about the gaming and entertainment industry
• To demonstrate strategic vision, business insights, and in-depth knowledge, with a focus on delivering results
• To be an effective team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
