Position: Director Business Development - Saudi Arabia

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Business Development in Saudi Arabia. Your role will be to lead sales and account management within the Technology, Automation, and Energy (TAE) sectors, with a focus on Technology.


Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the Business Development & Account Strategy to achieve significant growth in Saudi Arabia.
  2. Develop proactive sales plans in collaboration with the Marketing team and participate in relevant seminars and conferences.
  3. Build and leverage a strong network in Saudi Arabia to drive new business and support growth objectives.
  4. Manage RFQs in Saudi Arabia by coordinating roles and leading a high-performing team.
  5. Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer EMEA, Sector Teams, and other divisions to foster growth.
  6. Implement sales strategies from EMEA, Global, and Corporate levels.
  7. Focus on TAE sectors: Technology, Auto-Mobility, Engineering & Manufacturing, Energy, Chemicals.
  8. Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, licensing, and reporting requirements.
  9. Stay informed of regulatory changes, market conditions, and economic indicators.
  10. Provide regular reports on progress, challenges, and future plans to senior management.
  11. Manage and mentor the business development and sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  12. Provide ongoing training and development to keep the team updated on market knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in Sales and Business Development within logistics, including warehousing and transport.
  2. Successful track record in developing strategies that drive revenue growth in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region.
  3. Strong leadership skills to inspire and manage high-performing teams.
  4. Deep understanding of the local business environment, market dynamics, and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
  5. Excellent consultative selling skills (e.g., ACCELERATE methodology).
  6. Ability to manage and influence in a matrix management environment.
  7. High drive, resilience, and a proven sales record.
  8. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
