Job Summary
One of our clients are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Associate to drive growth in the real estate sector, with a specific focus on identifying new opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and increasing revenue streams. A key component of this role is managing and responding to tenders (RFPs/RFQs), particularly in large-scale commercial, residential, and government projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the real estate market (residential, commercial, mixed-use, etc.).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, developers, government entities, and other key stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to formulate growth strategies.
- Lead the end-to-end process of tender management, including:
- Identifying and monitoring relevant tender opportunities.
- Preparing and submitting technical and financial proposals in coordination with internal departments.
- Ensuring compliance with all tender requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align strategies and campaigns.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Provide regular reporting on business development activities, sales pipeline, and tender outcomes.
- Negotiate and close business deals in line with the company’s goals and profit margins.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development within the real estate industry.
- Proven track record of success in securing and managing tender-based contracts.
- Strong understanding of the real estate development lifecycle and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM software and tender platforms is an advantage.
