Job Description
  1. Speak to customers, either face-to-face or over the phone, understand their specific business needs, and apply product knowledge to meet them.
  2. Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough understanding of technical specifications and features of employers' systems and processes, then documenting them.
  3. Carry out cold calling to generate interest in products and services, create new business leads, and arrange meetings. Identify and develop new business through networking and follow-up courtesy calls.
  4. Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of software to customers.
  5. Market and promote a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature and attending industry events.
  6. Maintain awareness of and keep abreast of constantly changing software and hardware systems and peripherals.
  7. Provide technical advice to customers on installing and using computer systems and networks, both before and after sales.
  8. Advise on software features and their application to various contexts such as accounting, manufacturing, or other areas, meet sales targets set by managers, and contribute to team targets.
  9. Network with existing customers to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades.
  10. Handle hardware or software problems and faults, referring to technical colleagues when appropriate.
  11. Respond to tender documents, proposals, reports, and supporting literature, managing workload to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals.
Desired Candidate Profile
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.
  3. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  4. 1-3 years of experience in software sales or technical consulting.
  5. Strong understanding of IT systems, software specifications, and documentation.
